This is one of the most popular beaches on the Washington coast for tide pools. Plan your visit at low tide and you’ll be rewarded with little holes in the sand filled with sea stars, urchins, anemones and more. Another popular attraction here is the Tree of Life. It’s a huge tree growing over an eroding river bed right on the beach. You can actually see the mass root system growing, making for an interesting photo and opportunity to explore.

Beaches 3 and 4 are best known as tide-pooling destinations where you are likely to find Starfish and Sea Anemones, while beaches 1 and 2 are classically sweeping ocean views and cool driftwood. The hike down to Beach 3 from Hwy 101 is .3 of a mile and very scenic.
