Hiring out bikes and cycling the tracks around Lough Boora Discovery Park is one of our favourite things to do - approximately a 30 minute drive across the mountain from the property.

This is a lovely day out in nature walk or hire a bike to get around the park. There is a cafe there to enjoy a cuppa by the lough.

Check this place out online - it really is a special place. Its only about 25 minutes drive from Athlones and has great walks and cycle routes. You can rent bicycles on site and there is a coffee shop for refreshments. Definitely worth a trip.
