Great hiking and views just minutes away! The perfect place for a family friendly hike.

Beautiful place with open space trails. Usually less people than some of the other parks around. 100 acres and lots of open space, keep your eye out for elk which frequent the area and can be seen off the street sometimes usually as it gets further in the evening.

There are many trails to choose from. From dirt roads to billy goat type trails it is fantastic to get out and hike in nature. I like to take a loop along the hillside and then head to the river where I rest, eat snacks and enjoy the sound of the rushing water. I don’t like their signage which are just colored trails so I recommend taking a picture of the large map at the trailhead. You can then reference the map as you hike.
