The museum is located inside the University Cultural Center at UNAM; shows pieces and collections that merge science with art. It is a sister branch of the museum of the same name that is located in the Roma neighborhood.

An excellent option for contemporary art fans is the striking outward-sloping walled Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo, situated in the quirky Coyoacán district. Colloquially known as MUAC, it’s spacious and highly recommended for art fans visiting Mexico City. Its permanent collection has almost 1,500 pieces and features works from 1952 onwards – but its building is practically an art work in itself.

Gigantic contemporary art museum that is full of wonders and incredible installations - mostly big name artists in the art world. Must see if you're in UNAM's campus (Ciudad Universitaria).
