Rocky Beach. Some sand. Playground. Walk to Castaways, Pappi's Place or Eddie Strohs for food and drink. Ideal sheltered beach spot when in the rare occasion the wind is blowing from the North and the patio gets too breezy.

just a 1 min car ride to this beach with free parking, new bathrooms and a playground. in the summer lifeguards are on duty. also see nyfalls.com for a map of the dozens of public beaches and parks from hamburg to dunkirk
