Walk through lush rainforest to reach Crystal Shower Falls in Dorrigo National Park near Coffs Harbour. Enjoy spectacular views from the rocky cavern behind the waterfall. The walk to Crystal Shower Falls might be one of the shortest waterfall walks, but it is also one of the most intriguing because you can go behind the waterfall itself. Lush rainforest towers above you and you might hear the call of rainforest birds like fruit doves. A suspension bridge leads to a short side track that will take you behind the waterfall into a rocky cavern. To get to Crystal Shower Falls you’ll need to take the first part of the Satinbird stroll and then join the Wonga walk, leaving from Glade picnic area.

Wonderful hiking opportunity (easy enough for both adults and kids). Hike begins at Dorrigo National Park- leads to magnificent waterfall, possible to walk behind the falls. Myriad of lookouts.

Know where to start from - There is a long way and relatively shorter way. The long way starts from the Rainforest centre and it can take about 3km one way. The shorter and paved way is you go by your car to the Glen picnic area and start your walk from there. It is good 25-30mins one way but the way up is relatively difficult for young children.
