The seaside village of Kalathas is in the heart of a large natural bay on the Akrotiri peninsula, which is open to the north winds. The beach in front of the village is beautiful, with fine sand.

Kalathas beach is a large sandy beach with organized services (sunbeds, umbrellas, water sports etc.) that has been awarded the Blue Flag. The beach is known for the island that is located 200m away from the coast and is easily accessible by the swimmers.
