Famous 3,800ft elevation summit. Access via bicycle is free, 11-miles to summit, 30-miles round trip, 3-4 hours. Top summit has viewpoint parking lot with views to Yosemite and San Francisco. Best sightseeing for nature lovers in the area. For hiking specifically, I'd recommend Lime Ridge off Treat Blvd, Castle Rock or Briones.

Stunning views, hiking trails, multiple private and lovely picnic grounds, even some rock climbing areas! The 45-minute drive up the mountain is gorgeous.

From the top you can see the curvature of the earth. On winter days it gets a dusting of snow.
