Amazing botanical garden. Few dollars to enter. Bring a bathing suit. You can swim in a waterfall!

Waimea Valley, the valley of the kings. So much Hawaiian culture, a nice place and garden, and a waterfall and pond to swim in.

Located in Waimea Valley just to the north, right across the street from Waimea Bay. Since April 2009 this market has been a fun community gathering-place reflective of the uniqueness of the North Shore. Every week locals and visitors alike gather to celebrate and to fill up on fresh locally grown produce, listen to live music, watch the kids make free arts & crafts, and soak up the North Shore vibe. The food here is better than you'll find at many restaurants, at half the price! Make sure to try out the custom Poke Bowls--they're delicious! Thursdays 2:00-6:00, rain or shine… tsunami, maybe not.

Waimea is a short hiking train that ends in a Waterfall. There are usually small shops and events in the Valley including farmer's markets for local goods and produce on Thursdays.
