Lower Table Rock is a well-maintained (and well used) hiking trail nearby. The hike takes a couple hours round trip. We love it for the spectacular wildflowers and unique upland wet-meadows. This is a great hike for the young ones too. Just note that dogs aren't allowed on this hike to protect wildlife.

When you finally make it to the top (about and hour walking uphill) the views are breathtaking and its not hard to find the trailhead just off i-5.

Views from the cliffs extend across the Rogue River to the Siskiyous and the Cascades. Spring offers the best time for viewing the many different wildflowers and birds. However, the hikes are open year around and always offer stunning views. 4.8 miles long and takes about 3 hours to hike from top to bottom.
