Traditional dairy bar operating since 1947 and located one mile west of Woodstock on Rt. 4. They serve char broiled burgers, homemade onion rings, great sandwiches, fresh whole belly clams, Maine lobster salad rolls, fresh crisp salads and 30 flavors of ice cream. Steamed Maine lobster dinners on the weekends in the summer. Outside sitting overlooking the Ottauquechee River (Moms bring the towels and bathing suits –the kids are going in!)

Only open until Columbus Day but opens Memorial Day for a long summer of eating out on their gliders or by the creek. Terrific ice cream and know for its fried clams and lobster rolls. very casual.

Classic Vermont road stand-- good burgers, fried clam strips, ice cream, you name it! Right next to the river so dog and kid friendly with lots of outdoor seating options including gliders. On nice summer days you can wade into the river while you eat your ice cream. :)
