You have to see "The Street" by night time (Friday and Saturday is best) Jomfru Ane Gade (English: Virgin Anne's Street), in Aalborg, is one of Denmark's best known streets. It is has gained popularity for the restaurants and pubs lining both sides of the street. By some accounts, it represents the longest continuous stretch of restaurants and bars in Denmark (150 meter/ 30-40 clubs and bars). On warm summer evenings the terraces and restaurants fill up and then, as night falls, crowds of younger people walk up and down until they finally end up in one of the many clubs, each with its own type of music.
