Locating off of I-70 and Sheridan along a picturesque lake, Lakeside Amusement Park is the last private amusement park in Denver and one of the oldest amusement parks in the country. Step back in time at Lakeside, which offers plenty of fun for all ages, including trains, a merry-go-round, a drop tower, bumper cars and a variety of spinning rides.

An oldie but a goodie for family fun! Summer is never complete without a visit to Lakeside. The Chipmunk Roller Coaster is a must!

This is the older and cheaper amusement park in Denver. It has all the classic rides like bumper cars, tilt-a-whirl, Rocko Planes, Ferris Wheel, etc. The original wooden roller coaster is a blast. Its seriously so fun. Lakeside is much cheaper than Elitch's and doesn't get as busy. Although weekends in the summertime do tend to fill up!

Seasonal....usually opens in the spring and closes in September.

A blast from the past, Lakeside is one of the oldest still-running amusement parks in the country, and what it lacks in fancy new rides it more than makes up for in charm. Admission is free and you pay for rides as you go (or get an unlimited wristband), plus you can bring your own food in. Check the hours, not usually open before 6pm on weekdays
