This is my personal favorite spot in idyllwild- go see Helen and Jason at the best pottery studio- they’ve set up their ceramics shop so that it’s almost like outdoor shopping during covid- you can also book a reservation to learn how to make pottery or have a go on the wheel.

If you want to get more serious about your pottery, Helen at Mountain Pottery offers classes where you can hand-build or throw your own pottery. Keep in mind it's a couple of weeks between making the pottery and coming back to glaze it after it's been fired in the kiln!

Something for everyone. We offer a wide variety of classes and workshops in clay hand-building, sculpture and wheel-throwing for all ages and all experience levels by appointment 7 days a week.
