Beautiful dene for peaceful strolls. Connected to Heaton park by Armstrong Bridge. On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month a charming food market is held on Armstrong bridge in the mornings.

Jesmond Dene is a beautfiul and in places wild park. We walk or run in this treasure of a park every day. You should enjoy it too :)

A great place for a walk. Either walk directly there or park in the free parking by the entry to the Dene along Matthew Bank. Extend your walk by heading over the bridge into Armstrong park.
