Very fascinating tour. Luther Burbank put Santa Rosa on the agricultural map with all of his genetic inventions. The russet potato was one of them.

World-renowned horticulturist, Luther Burbank, lived and experimented with plants here in his home and garden for most of his 50-year career. He invented the Russet Burbank potato and the Santa Rosa plum - just two of his famous plant varieties. It is downtown, so you are close to many food and drink venues.
