Over twenty years ago Charlie Johnson brought his Alabama style of Barbecue to the beaches of the Space Coast. We would like to sincerely thank NASA for transferring Charlie from Huntsville Alabama to Melbourne, we owe them one! Over the years Charlie and Jake’s has become a fixture in the beachside community, and we love having the opportunity to speak to our regulars who share their stories about eating here in the beginning.
