Via Crociferi, one of the most famous and suggestive streets of the city! Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it hosts 4 wonderful churches: the Church of San Benedetto with its characteristic staircase of the Angel, the Church of San Francesco Borgia, the Jesuit College, finally the Church of San Giuliano. Cross the Arch of San Benedetto: according to a legend, this arch in via Crociferi was built in just one night. Right here below the nobles met for various conferences or for amorous encounters and, in order not to be disturbed, they said that a headless horse was prowling in this street from sunset!
