Stunning views to be enjoyed by car, bike, bicycle, or on foot! Up to you, great trails for mountain biking down the hill, or trekking, as well as narrow country roads for you to slowly drive along the hills and soak in what nature has to offer. Beautiful forests and gardens, dotted with romantic palaces and castles.

If you come by car I recomend you to spend a day in Sintra (or at least half a day). Sintra is a quiet town in the midlle of a mountain range. on this mountain you can found and visit some victorian palaces buil on 19th century and a mourish castle. the town of Sintra is tipically portuguese where you can eat nice local sweets (queijada de Sintra and travesseiro de Sintra). You can as well have a promenade in a horse-drawn carriage throw the town and the mountain.
