You can’t come to Inverness without visiting the famous Loch Ness. Stop to take in the views at Dores Beach and enjoy some pub food at Dores Inn whilst you’re there. Only a 15 drive from your room.

Beautiful location on the banks of Loch Ness. You'll spot families, dog walkers and many a wild swimmer. You may even spot Nessie!

Dores is the perfect place to stand and admire the view along Loch Ness towards Fort Augustas. You can enjoy a lovely walk, starting from the Dores Inn carpark, along the beach, onto a track along the waters edge to Tor point. The path curves round to the right and continues to follow the loch down towards Aldourie Castle. The path then doubles back towards Dores Beach.
