THEATRE, ARCHITECTURE AND HISTORY; YOU CAN VISIT THE BUILDING FROM TUESDAY TO SATURDAY, AT 12:30, FOR THE PLAYS YOU CAN CHECK THE PROGRAM ON THEIR WEBSITE. MOST OF THE PLAYS ARE IN PORTUGUESE WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES.

The main theatre in the city and one of the most important in the country. You can visit São João National Theatre to see a play or in guided tours. The main façade is beautiful, but what I like most about this theatre, I must say, is its classic and elegant inner spaces. Very worthy!
