Absolutely a jaw dropping architecture marvel in the middle of the sea. Plus interesting history - was ruled by the Siddis, a sea faring African tribe from the east coast of Africa for centuries.

It's a must visit once historical place. The fort is in the sea, accessible by boat. There is a vantage point at the center of the fort inside from where once can see the entire fort as well as for miles around. It's breath-taking. Old canons positioned near the outer walls of the fort are a great photo op. Highly recommend visiting this once. It's about a 45 minutes drive from the bungalow.

A fort mid sea about 32 km from our cottage. An engg. marvel to be appreciated along with the foresight of Shivaji Mahahraj. Experience the pirate ship like feel when crossing onto the fort. Also enjoy the sea food at Patil Khanaval along with this experience.
