Teatro Alejandro Tapia y Rivera, is the oldest free-standing drama stage building located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is named after Alejandro Tapia y Rivera, a Puerto Rican poet and dramatist.

Inaugurated in 1832, the Tapia Theater is for sure the oldest theater in America still operational. It is located at the very end of Fortaleza street when going out of Old San Juan. Must see it.
