The Brewery Museum Dortmund is dedicated to the long and successful brewing tradition of the largest city in Westphalia and the Ruhr area. It conveys impressions of the heyday of Bierstadt Dortmund since the 1950s, reports from the history of the numerous Dortmund breweries and explains the process of brewing, especially industrial brewing. It informs about production and beer consumption before 1950 as well as brewing in the Middle Ages.
