Solva Woollen Mill today specialises in flat woven flooring using 100% British Wool. In the summer months (July to the end of September) we also open Saturday 9.30am to 5.30p.m and Sunday 2.00p.m to 5.30p.m. You can visit the weaving shed and see the 90 inch Dobcross looms and associated cone and bobbin winders. We currently use a warping mill that was built in 1899. Where once dye pots and fulling machines were sited, the building has been renovated into a Tea Room, the old drive wheel from the water wheel and overhead line shafts can all still be seen. The old mill building that once contained carding engines, spinning mules and looms is now a stylish shop selling quality products curated from around the British Isles.
