Betty's bay...A smaller version of Kirstenbosch with an amazing waterfall. A terrible fire destroyed a large part of the garden and it is busy to grow back again. Fire was in 2019. Good place to go on a windy day. Situated in Bettys bay. Entrance fee required.

Take walking shoes or hiking boots, a hat and a bottle of water and get hiking.

Harold Porter National Botanical gardens covers almost 200 hectares between mountain and sea, in the heart of the Cape Fynbos region within the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve to the east of Cape Town, specifically close to Betty's Bay along Clarence Drive.

Lovely hiking trails and you can take your own picnic basket if you just want to relax.

This lovely garden is situated in the centre of the coastal fynbos where the flora is at its richest. The garden is a fantasy of flora with mountain slopes, waterfalls and amber pools.
