About a 45 minute drive to this hike with beautiful falls and swimming area. A popular spot on a hot day.

3 massive waterfalls on the Lewis River between the back side (not receiving the eruption) of Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams. The river forms one of the borders of the Dark Divide -- the largest roadless wilderness in the lower 48 and a perpetual candidate for Nat'l Park protection. This area is SECLUDED -- no cell, few cars, few visitors in remote Skamania County. If Sasquatch lives, it's here.

The Lewis River Falls are some of the most magnificent and beautiful waterfalls in the world. There are a series of 3 falls along a 2 mile trail. This place is especially nice on a hot Summer day!

Explore this 8.6-mile out-and-back trail near Cougar, Washington. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 28 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, camping, and fishing, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are April through November. (65 Miles - 1 Hour 50 Min) Great 8.4 mile out/back hike with 3 major waterfalls. You can also just drive up and walk a short distance to Lower Lewis River Falls. There is also a parking lot at Middle Falls. Reservations for parking are required from June 15th to September 6th via recreation.gov.
