a 15-minute walk, you can start at the end of the Esplanade and walk all the way to Viking Bay. Admire the beach huts as you stroll.

If you’re in Broadstairs & fancy a walk past Viking bay you can go on through to Stone Bay & check out the lovely beach huts & The Hut… an awesome food spot.

A little walk to Stone Bay is our favourite for the beautiful seascape and to see the decorated beach huts along the prom. It's sandy as most of our beaches in Thanet and there are rocks avoidable at low tide but it's a lovely walk round and you can travel further along from the prom or the beach. If the tide is out you can walk back to Viking Bay, Louisa Bay, Ramsgate. In the other direction you can walk from the shore low tide to Joss Bay, Botany Bay and further along to Margate.

Northwards from Viking Bay, this beach is a little quieter but note that the beach all but disappears during high tide! Lined with beautifully decorated beach huts

A little less hectic than Viking Bay. In the summer months The Hut serves a good selecion of food and drink - in 2023 Namaka are catering from there. Off-season the walk on the beach is wonderful and at low tide it's well worth carrying on towards Joss, Kingsgate and Botany Bays or as far as Margate if you have the energy!
