There's several locations or entrances, each spot on the James River has it's own unique features i.e. some spots have more rocks to sun bath on, some have more beachy areas. A few favs are 42nd St entrance, Texas Beach, and Pony Pasture.

The most beautiful river you might have ever seen. Great hangout spot and has one of the best mountain biking courses in the country

Richmond is the only city in the United States that has class 5 rapids in the middle of the city.
