Right next to the best gelato place, you will find the best pizza in Rome...what a privilege to be a few steps from both!

This is our favorite pizza place in Rome! If you are into real Italian pizza with finest crust in the world, be sure not to miss Baffetto! You will feel like in an Italian movie with whole Italian family making pizza right in front of you. Prices are also very, very good.

Maybe one of the most traditional pizza restaurant in Rome. Wood oven and a large choice of Roman pizza, very thin and crispy. Often crowded and noisy but it’s worthy to go. Very good prices.

Pizzeria Baffetto (Baffetto “mustache” in english) has become an institution, the pizzas are simple and good. But, it is sometimes crowded, and it’s best to arrive early or late (until 23:00 or midnight), and on weekdays. No possibility to reserve.

Pizzería
“PIZZA: The perfect example of Roman style pizzeria. Paper thin, delicious and savory pies available here. My favorite in the city center. There will probably be a line!”

“Pierluigi is a perfect representation of Rome’s understated elegance: it lies in a lovely but unassuming piazza behind Campo de’ Fiori and provides traditional white tablecloth service with extremely professional but friendly waiters. It excels at fish and seafood, with prices to match its high caliber entrées and clientele. Pierluigi attracts elite locals and noteworthy foreign guests who stop by to eat here when they’re in town so you just may run into some VIPs during your visit.( 144 Piazza de' Ricci)”

Cafetería
“When in Rome, you must drink espresso. Drip coffee and Starbucks don’t exist here. There are some unspoken rules if you don’t want to look like a tourist when ordering. First, cappuccinos are only drunk at breakfast. After that, order un caffè(a shot of espresso) or un caffè macchiato (a shot of espresso with a dollop of steamed milk). If you ask for a latte, you’ll simply get milk. In the hotter months, ask for un caffè freddo (cold espresso sweetened with loads of sugar) or crema di caffè (the Roman equivalent of a frappuccino). Two of the most famous cafés are Tazza d’Oro and Caffè Sant’Eustachio.”
