Interesting area to hang around and experience some art scene

Apart from the very interesting exhibitions by Greek and international photographers, my favorite spot of the museum is the coffee shop. It is always quiet, people are reading and discussing the exhibition they have just seen. The view is unique as it turns its back on the touristic side of the city and overlooks the sea and the working harbor. You can see the coloured cranes carrying cargo, but you can’t hear the fuss. If you find yourself walking by the seaside near the port on a sunny day, check the exhibition at the museum and later the coffee shop to enjoy the colours of the sea, the view of the other warehouses and the beautiful passenger terminal of the port, a French architecture building from the beginning of the century. However,if you are a little luckier and you are there on a rainy day, order a coffee and listen to the raindrops in conjunction with the big industrial windows, the cosy, warm space and the smell of coffee that will uplift the experience.
