Just two streets anyway you find one of the nicest place to hang out in Aalborg. During the weekdays you’ll often find friends and families hanging out, maybe playing a game or two, but also people sitting by themselves working on their computers or just relaxing. :) It’s very colourful place and the food and drinks are nice, but you definitely go there for the atmosphere. On Fridays the place is filled up, mainly by a bit “older” crowd (and by older I mean from 30s and up). Usually the bars in Aalborg centrum is packed with youngsters from maybe 18-25, so a lot of people who still enjoy going out, but don’t feel like being a part of the ‘drink and get drunk’ culture that’s a fundamental part of the Danish youth, will meet at Ulla Terkelsen. (Fun fact: The café is named after a very famous Danish international correspondent, Ulla Terkelsen). Also right next door you’ll find the best pizzaria in town (of course owned by Italians). Both possible to eat there and get takeaway - super good and authentic place.
