Love the wines, the food is very good, and the area is gorgeous. Right off the beach and Hwy 1, its roughly a 20 minute drive. Head a few minutes past the winery and you'll be able to see the elephant seals chilling on the beach. A great day trip.

There are lots of great options for winetasting in the area, and this is just one, but the location and the people make this one worth stopping at.

Excellent wines and tasting room right below Hearst Castle. Wine tasting on the beach! Also there is a tasting room in Paso!
