10 minutes up hill towards Volcano this family run coffee farm offers a glimpse into the Coffee industry in Hawaii. Set on 15 or so acres, they have tours of the coffee trees and the entire coffee production process (reservations in advance)or simply visit the store and ask for the abbreviated "tour" and then taste and pick up some fantastic local (and all over the Island) coffee beans. Check and see if they have any of the roasted peaberry coffee beans, so smooth and rich.

Halfway between Volcano and Hilo, good for a quick bite, and great coffee. Saturday morning Farmer's Market. Be there by 9 am or earlier!

The roast their own coffee, and it's great. Also has a full café and farmers market on Saturday.
