This studio is located in Welches, OR. It is the perfect location to access recreational activities in the Mt Hood area - only 18 minutes from Skibowl and 30 minutes from Timberline or Meadows. Freshly updated space with a shared entry, the studio is on the second floor, inside the main house. It has a private bathroom and many amenities including Wi-Fi, internet, smart TV, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, kettle. We live in the house. You may occasionally hear noises and footsteps. Niksen House: Scandanvian style Cabin at Mt. Hood

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities. The Woodlands Hideout

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.
