Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". When the sun is shining you can enjoy the private outdoor seating area. Otherwise, enjoy the fire and bask in cosiness. Our rural location on a cycle route just outside the historic market town of Biggar brings privacy, stunning views, and great walks like Coulter Fell or Tinto. We recommend bringing a car (Biggar is a 15-minute walk away), parking is provided.

South Cottage

South cottage is located in the small rural community of Wiston near Biggar. Our cottage offers a fully equipped retreat to relax and unwind whilst being perfectly located for exploring a wide range of nearby activities and attractions , including Tinto Hill , Lanark , Historical New Lanark, the Clyde Valley and the wider Scottish Borders , Edinburgh and Glasgow are both within an 1 hour drive or accessible by train , Lanark and Carstairs train station are within a 20min drive .

Enjoy a relaxing get away in our spectacular snugs. These are the perfect way for a couple days with a partner or friend. Enjoy local walks or visit the historic town of Linlithgow. Located high up in the hillside enjoy stunning views over West Lothian. Tea and coffee facilities are provided along with a microwave. All our snugs have underfloor heating and generous en-suite bathroom with full size shower. Guests are more than welcome to bring food/takeaways into the snugs.

This 1978 Airstream is fully re-built by your hosts in a private 1/2 acre glade with a stream running through, wood-fired hot tub, outdoor chill zones: tiki bar, fire pit with hammocks and covered deck. All exclusive use. This one-of-a-kind Airstream conversion is bright, quirky & cozy with wood stove, king bed, sofa bed, plumbed wetroom, full kitchen + even doorbell! Retro made perfect.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

A cosy, spacious and tranquil cottage on Station Road, Biggar which is just over a 5 minute walk to the shops, restaurants and pubs in Biggar High Street. There is a large driveway for up to 4 cars and a locked shed for bicycles. The cottage has two King Sized beds, large living dining area, fully fitted kitchen and a large walk in shower. The cottage is the perfect place to stay when attending weddings, a base for work or just a few days away. It is a real home from home.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.
