Excelente ubicación, a tan solo cuatro cuadras del Parque Central. Los alrededores son tranquilos y con opciones de restaurantes. El hospedaje estaba limpio, la cocina está bien equipada, las habitaciones son cómodas. La pasamos muy bien y esperamos repetir la experiencia pronto. Muchas gracias por todo.

Great stay at Zaire’s spacious upstairs apartment. Thankfully Zaire was able to accommodate 3 travelers in need of a last minute place to stay. Her instructions on how to find it were great, she was super easy to communicate with and her place was as described and suitable for us. Great WiFi, also near some convenient places to eat.

el espacio de Jean estuvo muy lindo. muy especial y agradable. vistas espectaculares al lago y tuvimos kayak y pudimos nadar. aconsejable llegar en carro si quieres llevar comida. Habitaciones amplias y una linda terraza para disfrutar el lago. todo muy bien.

Un lugar muy tranquilo rodeado de naturaleza muy agradable

The house is very beautiful. A lovely design and filled with beautiful touches and artwork. An amazing view off the veranda, and the gardens are relaxing and full of birds. We all enjoyed the clean pool very much too. Overall it was an amazing place to relax and recharge. There is a walk up to the local village of Santa Clara or tuk tuks to take you up the hill, and the village has a produce market on Saturdays. We also recommend CECAP for great meals with the best view, as well as fair trade traditional handicrafts. It was easy to get a boat at the public dock. It’s probably easiest to arrange your own driver and boat to the private dock as then it’s easy to contact them if they do not turn up or know where to go (problems we had through no fault of the host). Definitely shop in Pana as the shops are very small in Santa Clara. Be aware it was hazy every day for 6 days and apparently this is common in April (or other months too?) because of cane burning. We loved our stay at Casa Bonita, the Airbnb is lovely, spacious, and well equipped, with comfortable beds and nice living area and kitchen. The outdoor terrace/pool area is beautiful and a lovely spot to relax in front of the view. Location is perfect - just outside of San Pedro so it’s nice and peaceful, but also close enough to walk or grab a Tuk Tuk into town. Finally a massive thank you to Marcos who was always super helpful and very responsive whenever we had questions. Would recommend to others in an instant. Gracias!

Made a very last minute booking, José was very helpful . I have a 4x4 and the drive to the location is so fun! The home is bucolic and charming. I plan on staying here again when in Huehuetenango // Hice una reserva de último minuto, José era muy atendido. Tengo un 4x4 y el viaje hasta el lugar es más divertidos que he tenido. El hogar es bucólico y encantador. Planeo quedarme aquí otra vez cuando esté en Huehuetenango.
