We were very happy at Bente's place. Bente was there to greet us when we arrived (at the time of our choosing after the check-in time), and explained everything. There was also a really good book explaining things but we then only needed to use that as a reference as Bente had already explained it all. Bente has also been very easy to communicate with electronically - very responsive and proactive. The cabin has a very private setting on a beautiful shoreline, and has plenty of windows to let in the light and lovely views (exactly as per the pictures on Airbnb). The cabin was very well kitted out - it had everything needed; for example, the kitchen was really great. We were also very grateful for the use of the snowshoes, and the children loved the sledges and Bente pointed out a great hill beside the house to use these on. We'd definitely hope to return if / when we return to the area.

Jorun hatte schon viele Gäste in ihrem Haus auf Sommaroy. Wie alle Gäste vor uns auch,kann ich nur von Herzen bestätigen was für eine tolle Gastgeberin Jorun ist und wie wohl wir uns von Anfang bis Ende in ihrem Haus gefühlt haben!!!!! Auch bei einer Anreise die wetterbedingt alles andere als glatt verlaufen ist ,stand sie uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, vielen Dank dafür;) Wir werden bestimmt noch einmal wiederkommen, zum einen um Joruns Gastfreundschaft noch einmal zu genießen und zum anderen um eine zweite Chance zu bekommen die Polarlichter doch noch sehen zu können, was dieses mal leider nicht der Fall war. We spent a few days in a beautiful house. Marianne was very helpful with her advices. I would roccommend it to all who wants to stay in a remote nice place.

We had a lovely stay here and it was all we could have asked for. You can see the sea from the hut the view was beautiful. The accommodation was warm and the host provided tea and snacks which went down a treat after the long drive. If we ever come back we would stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Svein’s Airbnb was impeccably clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Svein was an outstanding host—super responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and easy access to local attractions. Lovely cozy old small cottage house, immediately felt like home <3 A little squank so vertigo on the first evening but it passed the next day. Went for daily morning swims in the sea, baked bread and skiid mountains. Perfect peaceful location on Kvaloya. Especially lovely snd functional kitchen, even had a smoothie blender and beautiful bowls. The road to the house tends to be undrivable if it snows and slushes but it worked great to arrange snow clearing directly with Siv’s brother Gaute who lives nearby (because if you park near the main road, then nobody can clear the snow). Ha det bra och tusen tack för allt!

A szállás gyalogtávolságra található a belvárostól egy igazán hangulatos részen. Rebecca nagyon segítőkész volt és pontos leírást adott mindenről. A lakás jól felszerelt és igazán otthonos, jobbat nem is tudtam volna elképzelni sem.

I really enjoyed this cute little house located in the heart of Senja near all the nice photography spots! House is super cute! And I really liked all the attention to details from the host..such as giving my two Senja beers from a local brewery! Nice touch!

Said was an exceptional host! Friendly & communicative, he even sent a driver to collect me from the airport & take me to get groceries before dropping me at the doorstep as my flight arrived on a Sunday evening when public transport is limited. 5* host!! The apartment is stylish & comfortable with a beautiful view, I saw the northern lights from the front porch! It is a little way from the city, but the bus stop is very close by & public transport is easy to navigate (Said recommended the transport app “Svipper”) beautiful city. Would highly recommend. 😊

Die Kvalöya Lodge ist eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, die wir je hatten und Ketil der netteste und fürsorglichste Gastgeber, den man sich vorstellen kann. Wir haben besonders die Aussicht auf den Fjord, das abendliche Kaminfeuer, die Nordlichter und Ketils Tipps (Husky Tour mit Active Tromsö, Rentierherde (sie mögen übrigens Möhren), Sommaröy, Eidel Handel (toller Supermarkt für Selbstversorger), Söstrene Kafé in Tromsvik) sehr genossen. Wir hatten zum Schluss sehr viel Schnee - die Landstraße wird zum Glück rund um die Uhr gut geräumt. Schneeschuhe und Spikes stehen den Gästen zur Verfügung.

Words will never make justice to what we felt at this house. When we saw Bergsfjorden from the upper part of the road, we understood where we were landing. This place is magical. Inside and outside. The bad part was packing and leaving those windows full of joy behind.

Just wow! We loved the house, the location, sauna and hot tub! It’s beautiful and peaceful. Hans is a very nice host, helped and explained everything. We had the best time and hopefully come back one day. :)

Ich durfte vor 2 Jahren schon mal bei Bjørn im Airbnb übernachtet und habe mich in das Haus und die Umgebung verliebt. Ich würde behaupten das Bjørn eines der schönsten Airbnb auf dieser Plattform besitzt. Aber nicht nur das Haus und die atemberaubende Aussicht auf denn Fjord sonder auch die äusserst freundliche Gastfreundschaft von Bjørn macht diesen Ort so speziell.

Its hard to overstate our enjoyment staying at Andreas’s cabin. This is a beautiful location about 25 minutes drive from Tromso. The cabin is welcoming and private. The views are spectacular. But even more, Andreas defined an excellent host. He had the Sauna on when we arrived, always attentive, friendly and proactive. We ended up driving down deep into Finland to see northern lights because of snow and clouds in Tromso. And in no small part because Andreas was so helpful in advising and guiding our choice and timing. Far and away our best Airbnb experience. We’d love to return some day.

Wir waren eine Woche in Vibekes gemütlichen Haus. Es liegt fernab von jeglichem Tourismus auf einer kleinen Insel. Trotzdem kommt man gut mit dem Auto oder dem Bus nach Tromsoe. Das Haus war bei Ankunft blitzsauber, die Schlafzimmer praktisch und die Betten sehr gut. Die Küche voll funktionsfähig, alles da, grandios der Blick auf den Fjord von einer Frühstücksbar!! Das Wohnzimmer ebenso sehr gemütlich und mit phantastischem Blick, Gemütlichkeit wird getopt durch ein Ofenfeuer. Der Flur macht auf Grund seiner Bodenheizung immer warme Schuhe! Bad und Toilette getrennt - perfekt! Durch diese tolle Lage hatten wir eine wunderbare Ruhe, einen phantastischen Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer auf einen Fjord und um die Nordlichter zu sehen, mussten wir einfach nur vor die Haustür gehen! Einfach grandios!! Unbedingt zu empfehlen!!

Ein wunderbares Häuschen direkt am Meer! Sehr ruhige Lage mit einer atemberaubender Aussicht. Es ist alles vorhanden was man für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt. Perfekter Spot für die Polarlichter & Wildtiere. Man kann zu Fuss oder mit kurzer Autofahrzeit viele tolle Ausflüge unternehmen. Rund um wunderbarer Ort zum verweilen, Danke Ulette

Een prachtige locatie met heel veel ruimte binnen en buiten. Het uitzicht over het fjord is fantastisch. De kinderen (en volwassenen) hebben zich om het huis vermaakt met het zoeken naar schelpen en mooie steentjes. Er loopt een sneeuwhaas om het huis en ook de otter is 2x gespot. Bijna iedere avond hebben we genoten van het noorderlicht. Prachtig!!! Binnen is er ontzettend veel ruimte. Ideaal met 4 jonge kinderen. Ze hebben ontzettend veel plezier gehad, mede door de spelletjes die door Elisabet voor ons geregeld waren. We hebben een aantal keer een vraag gesteld en kregen daar direct adequaat antwoord op. Ook de tips over de omgeving waren erg fijn. Mooie autoroutes, maar zeker ook in de buurt is veel te bezoeken, wandelen en te zien. We hebben een prachtige week gehad. Triptip: Fjordcruise vanuit Tromso. Een 3,5 uur durende boottocht met gids die uitleg gaf over de omgeving, wildlife etc.

Outstanding stay! Privacy, comfort, location and a great hot tub. We ended up seeing our best aurora show from the patio/deck area. Great place. Great hosts.

Nydelige omgivelser, god kommunikasjon og fleksibilitet. Fikk muligheten til å sjekke inn tidligere uten problemer. Dette er det perfekte stedet for avslapping og en helt nydelig utsikt!

A Perfect Getaway – Highly Recommended! Our stay at this beautiful holiday rental was nothing short of amazing! clearly easy to follow instructions meant we got into the property hassle free, even with a very late arrival. The property itself was stunning—immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views made it the perfect escape from everyday life. The host was super helpful, helping us with warnings of bad weather, roads closed due to avalanches and just generally helpful information. If you’re looking for a perfect holiday retreat with a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The place was very easily accessible from the city centre. it felt like home at the apartment. Jenny was really helpful and always available if we needed any assistance. The surroundings were really good. Most of the places were at a walkable distance from the apartment. We would definitely recommend Jenny's place for a nice cozy stay if anyone is travelling to Tromso.

We had a wonderful stay. This beautiful penthouse apartment has the most amazing views. We think the best in Tromso, from the huge full length windows. Watching the ever changing weather pattern, from snow storms to sunshine became so much part of our day and it’s what I missed the most when we came home. It’s the perfect place to sit and relax before enjoying all that Tromso has to offer. The apartment is spacious and in pristine condition. Trine is a kind responsive host.

Die Unterkunft ist der Hammer. Die Wohnung ist im 8.Stock und ist in das Meer hinaus gebaut. Vom Balkon und vom Wohnzimmer aus hat man eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Auf Anfragen wurde immer sehr schnell geantwortet. Die Unterlagen um die Unterkunft zu finden, sowie die Beschreibung wo der PP und der Wohnungsschlüssel ist waren top. Die Wohnung entsprach zu 100% unseren Vorstellungen. Unser Sohn ist Rollstuhlfahrer, die Wohnung ist für Rollstuhlfahrer sehr zu empfehlen Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich, dass wir in dieser tollen Unterkunft zu Gast sein durften.

This was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. The property and view are amazing! Fredrik was incredibly kind and responsive- before and during our stay. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future. The grocery store is a quick walk just near the apartment, and we walked everywhere (20 minutes) or so to downtown bus terminal for Northern Lights and Reindeer Tours, about same distance to the mall. Local grocery store had a ton of gluten and dairy free options, and was very clean and friendly staff. The view was absolutely amazing.
