Great guest house to stay, very close to the Echo beach, restaurants and grocery stores. You will receive a warm welcome here! I did not use the kitchen but you have one that you can use. You can also ask for laundry services in a shop right next door. Only inconvenience for me was the wifi that did not work so well: I did get messages on WhatsApp but wasn't able to do more. I still recommend!

Perfect overnight stay to catch the ferry in the morning. My host collected me from the airport and dropped me at the ferry terminal. The room was simple and perfectly clean. I would highly recommend staying here. I will definitely come again.

Dieser Ort ist ein wahres Juwel Balis. Die Reisfelder, der Blick auf den Vulkan Agung - es fühlt sich absolut authentisch an. Der viele Verkehr von Ubud hat mich davor gestresst, hier oben ist es wunderbar ruhig und dennoch ein quirliges Leben mit vielen Aktivitäten. Wer das authentische Bali erleben möchte, kommt hierher.

We really liked the place and location, everything was easy to find, the apartment is close to the restaurants, clubs and beach .

Great maid service! However location is’nt very good if you want to sleep before midnight. Check in instructions were unclear we ended up having to walk our luggage all the way to the second reception to pick up the key. Overall stay was 8/10

muy comodo, espacioso y con escritorio para trabajar lo cual nos fue muy util! la cama es comoda , las cortinas cubren bien la luz y el lugar es muy tranquilo :). A solo una cuadra de la playa. Hay agua potable gratis y el personal es muy amable. Mantuvieron la limpieza de la habitación y nos cambiaron las toallas. lo unico a mejorar es el baño, el inodoro se tapaba constantemente aun sin tirar papel higiénico como indicaba el cartel :( volveriamos a alojarnos:) gracias!

I am a return traveller and have just spent most of July at Darrens AirBnb. Again, I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the apartment, particularly after the renovations since I stayed last year. A very comfortable stay, and felt at home. The nearby music venue was looked forward to each night, as it's quality vocals (mostly!) and generally finished around 11pm. Clean, comfortable, secure, cool and good value. Thanks Darren, I hope to be back again...

Beautiful spot, the owner was super supportive with everything we needed. Got picked up and dropped off at the front of the street, as cars cannot get inside the streets. Animals were a little loud in the mornings but nothing else to complain about. Thank you

What a beautiful place! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Ellena, who was a friendly, proactive, and responsive host throughout our stay. The villa exceeded all expectations— even more stunning than the pictures. The bedding was pristine, the space was bright and airy, and the lush greenery by the pool made it feel like a true oasis. The location is fantastic—set in a quieter part of Bali, away from the hustle and bustle, yet still only about 30 minutes from Canggu. The beach is just a short walk away, offering incredible sunsets, and there are great coffee shops and a handy little convenience store nearby. The area has a lovely, relaxed feel, with lots of families staying nearby, making it a great place to unwind. The villa also provides a helpful booklet full of recommendations, which made exploring the area so easy. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely be returning!

Ayu’s home was a beautiful private getaway! It looks even better than the photos, and is truly a one of a kind place. Ayu herself is sunshine in human form! She really went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay: bringing us breakfast of our choice every morning, giving us local recommendations, and her family helping us with our luggage when checking out. Some notes that are fully unrelated to Ayu and her place but worth mentioning: - there are quite a few mosquitos, more so as the villa is next to a standing body of water. Ayu provides lots of bug spray and great mosquito-preventing tools but it is something to keep in mind as the entirety of the villa is outdoors. - the location is not far from Ubud, although we would recommend planning to get a driver as it was not always easy to get gojek/grab cars to/from the villa. Just something we wish we planned for! Overall would highly recommend staying at Ayu’s for a once in a lifetime experience! Thank you!!

The best Airbnb in Ubud, even better than the photos! Windu and his family were incredibly kind and always available to help. If we return to Ubud, we’ll definitely book this place again.

Our second time at Villa Suksma – and once again, everything was perfect! The villa is even more beautiful than we remembered: peaceful, super clean, and thoughtfully designed with so much love for detail. Wan is incredibly warm and welcoming hosts – communication was effortless, and we felt at home from the first moment. This place truly is a slice of paradise, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for another unforgettable stay!

Our stay at this Airbnb in Bali was absolutely perfect! The pool was definitely one of the highlights – crystal clear water, a great temperature, and the perfect spot to relax or unwind at the end of the day. A very special feature was the bathroom – an absolute tropical dream! The open design with lush plants created a serene, spa-like atmosphere. Showering under the open sky, surrounded by greenery, was truly unforgettable. Overall, this place had everything we needed for the perfect holiday. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali!
