Lake View Lodge

Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views every morning across the meadow, Lake Windermere, fells and mountains beyond. The Lodge is a self-contained cabin with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Enjoy a large 45 square meter space with king sized bed, double sofa bed, shower room and kitchenette. Ideally suited for up to two adults and two children or three adults.

Lodge on the Lake is a luxurious property located in a very special position right on Lake Windermere within the Lake District National Park. Enjoy uninterrupted views across the Lake towards the mountains from the privacy of the Lodge. The Lodge has a private setting within the 5 star Fallbarrow Park which offers that special break. Take a five minute walk into Bowness town to enjoy the many restaurants, bars and shops or a Lake steamboat excursion. Please note, pets are strictly prohibited.

The Hide Lodge is a stylish space, designed with relaxing and retreating in mind. It is cosy and warm with underfloor heating. The open plan lounge and living area has full width bi-fold doors, which allows the space to be fully opened up to feel like part of the woodland beyond. The main bedroom boasts sliding french doors, also overlooking the woodland and stream, with a bath placed to enjoy this view. There is a private terrace and patio area to enjoy al-fresco dining or star-gazing.

Water lovers are in a perfect place, to access the lake at the bottom of the stairs leading from the decking. Nature lovers can enjoy watching the many birds and wildlife pass by. Located on White Cross Bay, the lodge is in a fantastic place to explore the Lake District and it's only £3.00 by bus to anywhere in The Lakes.

It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The Herdvyk (#1) is one of our two beautiful bespoke log cabins, nestled on a small family farm on the edge of the Lake District National Park, offers a bespoke escape for two. This hand crafted, off-grid retreat features a comfortable double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower. Outside, you can unwind by the stone circle, relax in the outdoor bath, or simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the fire pit.

Watch red squirrels play right outside the cabin doors as well as a vast array of birds and other wildlife. Bath in the authentic Scandinavian wood fired hot tub while watching the trees and the stars around you. Sorry, no dogs – to protect our ancient woodland and the endangered red squirrels who live here.
