Kristin is truly the best host I’ve ever encountered! It is clear that she is doing this not as just a business but because she genuinely wants to create a sacred place rooted in care. We were welcomed with a delicious loaf of bread and she was readily available whenever we needed anything. She always ensured we were comfortable and would even come to shovel periodically when there was a winter storm. Anytime she stopped by she would ask if we needed her to pick up anything and would bring us a treat. The energy of the house is very special, it feels like you are in an extension of nature. There are relics from India, sound bowls, and stones from around the world under the floor that all contribute to the house’s magic. It completely surpassed my expectations.

place was exactly as listed. very convenient to visit our daughter at Marist and bring the dog!!! Natalie was great, and Diana was super-fantastic with co-hosting and helping us. The backyard was fantastic for the dog- she loved it! VERY reasonably priced for that much house!!!

Amanda's place is wonderful: super cozy, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need. It's in a great location that's accessible to plenty of yummy local restaurants and coffee shops. Amanda and her partner are extremely welcoming and gave us fantastic recommendations. We'll be back for another escape from the city very soon!

We stayed at Sue's place for a long weekend in January and had a wonderful time. Sue was always available and very responsive. Check in was easy and the house was very clean when we arrived. We cooked all of our meals at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a warm and inviting place to spend the the long weekend - we look forward to coming back!

Outstanding vacation rental, responsive owner, great location! I'd highly recommend for anyone (individual, couple or family) looking for a rental specific to the Hyde Park area. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Clean, well maintained, very easy check in and Patrick was a great communicator. Beautiful yard, space to spread out with a Living Room and Sunroom overlooking a lovely yard and wooded area. Safe and quiet neighborhood locale and close to many attractions within minutes of the house. Culinary Institute of America, FDR Library and Museum, Vanderbilt Mansion, Walkway Over the Hudson were all within a 3 - 10 minute drive of the house. Fabulous dining in Hyde Park as well as in the surrounding communities. Great Hudson Valley antiquing! Also, Poughkeepsie Train Station was a 15 minute drive and we were able to travel direct to and from NYC for a day. I'd highly recommend this vacation rental, without hesitation. The place was located right in the middle from all the places I wanted to see: Minnewaska State Park, New Paltz, Woodstock, Ashokan reservoir, Westwind orchard. The house was beautiful with a great kitchen and living room/ dining room area. I came with my brother and his family (they visited from Germany) and the kids wanted to go home early to play in the garden. It is a great place with a fully stocked kitchen and a great living room to hang out and spent the evening. The bathrooms are newly done and the kids were excited to have their own bedroom. I would definitely come back! Lovely place.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at William and Elizabeth’s house. The property is magical and quiet while being just a short drive from all the must see HV sights. We spent the majority of our time (when not sightseeing) on the back screened in porch which was so comfortable. Will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at the Suites on Main! The suite was clean, spacious, and accommodated our needs with microwave, stove and full refrigerator! The on-suite bathroom was so nice and a great hot shower! The location in town is perfect for enjoying the shops and eating spots! We would recommend this place to all couples traveling to Margaretville!

I absolutely love this little cottage. This is our second time staying. It is very cozy, perfect for a couple for the weekend. The property is very quiet and peaceful with the brook running right past the back of the cottage. It is an easy walk into the center of town and the strip with various stores, restaurants, and bars. The cottage was clean, neat, and had all basic necessities. Panxi and Diana are great hosts, available for questions. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this booking.

Our stay here was an absolute delight. We spent several relaxing hours in the pool surrounded by a lovely garden and captivating water feature. We also enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. The rooms were big and comfortable. Bottled water was everywhere and the fridge was stocked with eggs and coffee. Rick was incredibly accommodating and helpful. The place itself is just the right distance from New Paltz to capture that “getting away from it all” feeling while also being close enough to easily pop into town for dinner and browsing the shops. The perfect antidote for anyone in search of a much-needed from the weekly grind (basically, everyone!) Highly recommended.

Perfect Snowboarding Getaway! I rented this lovely home for a weekend snowboarding trip, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short drive from Belleayre, making it easy to hit the slopes. The home was exactly as described—cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a day of snowboarding. Carol was a fantastic host; she was very responsive to any inquiries, and the check-in process was seamless. I had no issues during my stay and can't think of any complaints. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a great place to stay while enjoying winter sports. Will definitely be back!

Very eclectic home with unique decorations that made for a memorable stay in a positive way. Belleayre Mountain ski area is just up the road so it was the perfect location for a ski weekend. Really great experience and would recommend it.

We stayed four days, a great little home base. Cuter in person, very clean. Super short drive to the village and is in a quiet neighborhood. You'll hear normal apartment-type noise like footsteps and some talking. Would 100% be happy to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

We were so happy to be back at Joe and Barb’s. Their hospitality is wonderful - from recommendations to bonfires to impeccable breakfasts. Already planning our next stay!

Incredible place to stay! Had enormous cozy living room, bedroom, and bathroom to ourselves that was perfectly furnished with interesting farmhouse style decor. Bedroom and bathroom were clean, coffee and tea in the living room and games/books, and the best part was the outdoor space - lovely big backyard with lots of outdoor seating, cedar hottub (shared with other guests but no problem there!) and swimmable creek (enjoyed cold plunge -> hot tub in late Oct). Leaves were beautiful this time of year, easy 5-min bike ride to the O&W rail trail, and 10 min drive to Kingston and close to Woodstock too - Sarah gave great food recs. Can't wait to come back.

Heidi goes above and beyond for her guests. Her home is warm and welcoming making you feel right at home. The complimentary breakfast is a nice touch. we had the pleasure of meeting Heidi and it was such a pleasure getting to know her. She also gives great recommendations on where to go around town. We will definitely be coming back for another stay. Thank you Heidi, Randy, and of course their pup Satchmo for a wonderful stay. We are grateful you open your home to us all.

This is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the Hyde Park area. Best to rent a car once you’re there, but it’s very close to many great attractions. Troy’s home is beautiful and clean, with a lot of great amenities. He also provides great local information and he prepares a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend.

Very peaceful and beautiful scenery, with huge backyard. Hosts are welcoming and helpful and gave us good recommendations for places to eat. Dan was also very friendly. We had the first floor room with private bath. Bed was comfortable. The only toiletry items available were hand soap and toilet paper, no shower amenities, so plan ahead. Towels were provided. One last comment, the first floor bedroom opens to the kitchen so you hear all sounds in the morning and hear people walking up and down stairs, so if you want to sleep in, don’t pick the first floor room. Overall a nice relaxing experience at this bed/breakfast.

We love going to The Journey Inn. Val and Eric are wonderful hosts and the accommodations are fantastic. The morning breakfasts are another highlight! If you are reading this review, please do yourself a favor and book!
