Granny Women healers of early Appalachia used herbs, common sense, Celtic spells, prayer, moonshine, and the King James Bible to heal all ailments. Based on long oral traditions and reconstructed on the spot were Granny Woman O'Clery's husband built a tiny cabin before being killed in a Indian attack. Welcome to beautiful WV! Our cottage is secluded, easy to get to, overlooks fields and a lovely pond. There are trails and fishing on the property, and views in all directions. The cottage is fully air conditioned, clean, has WiFi and is located 8 min. from I-64 and 10 min. from both White Sulphur Springs (the Greenbrier) and Lewisburg, WV (“Coolest Small Town” winner). We love hosting guests on our farm, in our cozy cottage with beauty, peace and quiet, trails, fishing, and mountain air.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Serenity Hill Cottage is nestled among the rolling hills of beautiful Monroe County WV. This space offers an escape from the hustle and bustle and gives you a chance to get unplugged. It is situated right across from Hanna Farmstead Pumpkin Farm and is 15 minutes from great hiking trails including the Greenbrier River Trail. We are located just 20 minutes from the WV State Fair grounds. There are a lot of places to explore locally!

High ceilings, hardwood floors, and warm open spaces, the house has five uniquely decorated bedrooms (four on the second floor and one on the first floor), each with private bath, sitting area, and individually controlled heating and cooling.

The Hunker Inn is a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment attached to The Hunkerdown, a family friendly coffee shop in a historic general store. It is the perfect location for cyclists with many scenic routes just outside the doors. It is also within a few miles of the quaint historic town of Union, Second Creek Fly fishing, the Greenbrier River, and Moncove Lake.

Built for $500.00 dollars "back-in-the-day," the Earlehurst Cottage was inhabited by The Carters, a humble, cute old country couple. Here, they raised two daughters. Today, the house is tastefully appointed where expected - & comfortable to modern standards - yet, it has been left as charming, rustic & cozy as it had always been: with elements of the original decor, windows, plaster walls, etc., being preserved. Pets stay for free!

A short walk around the farm takes you to see beautiful sunsets and sunrises. After dark enjoy the campfire and roast marshmallows and on clear nights enjoy the stars. On some summer nights enjoy fireflies sparkling in the pastures.
