Earth & Aircrete Dome Home

Creative, unique and cozy. This dome is made from aircrete and is finished with clay plaster and an earthen floor. It is a piece of art in every respect and is sure to inspire. It has everything needed to cook food, be warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs. It is heated by a wood stove or electric space heater and has a outdoor composting toilet and a shared indoor bathroom. Come enjoy the only dome of it's kind in the whole country!

Newly built in 2021 as a place to hideaway in nature. Set on a private wooded 9 acre lot with lake access to Powers Pond. We have two Kayaks available for use. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

Fundy Retreat

Private 'half' of a very old farmhouse overlooking the Bay of Fundy. Ideal as a retreat or quiet getaway surrounded by history and natural beauty. (Host lives in the other half.) All new interiors, well designed and keeping the character of the house. Important to know - the 2 bedrooms are adjoined. Huge screened 3 season sun room for dining, relaxing and sleeping (queen foldout) Total access to south area of the gardens. Walk 2k to Thomas' Cove - part of "Fundy Cliffs Geopark".

‘All Tide Inn’ Oceanfront Home on the Minas Basin

Welcome to the Minas Basin, home of the Worlds Highest Tides. Situated directly on the bay you can watch the tide go in and out from the back deck or upstairs from your private balcony. This two bedroom two bathroom getaway is sure to provide relaxation and awe inspiring views of the world renowned tides. Relax while watching the tides rise and fall, or walk to the beach a 3 min walk away. In the cooler months relax by the wood burning stove while prepping dinner in the kitchen.

Relax in the 2 person jet tub after a hike to Cape Split or near by beaches Snuggle in front of the fireplace for a romantic evening. A seasonal restaurant and Look Off Park is located just a short walk away or if you prefer to cook we have a few small cooking appliances. Microwave, Hotplate oven, BBQ everything you need.

A relaxing 1 bdrm country suite that can accomadate more with a daybed and ample space. 15 minutes from the airport, our quiet rural setting is a great spot to rest before or after a flight, use as a base for day adventures like hiking local trails or shopping in nearby Dartmouth(25minutes)/Halifax(30-40minutes). Wherever your adventure takes you, a warm cozy place to begin and finish it, awaits you here. Please note, smoking is not permitted on the property.

Beautiful seaside cottage/house in rural N.S. French patio doors leading to 12'x12' deck. Fire pit. Clamming, fishing , beach combing (fossils, etc). Breath taking view of the Minas Basin. Sit on the deck and watch the eagles glide by. Golf course located 4 km away. Convenience store (NSLC)/ gas 5 km away. Very central location, if you are looking for quiet and serenity with a faster pace near by we are approx. 1 hour to Halifax, Truro & Wolfville.
