Although techincally only one bedroom, this place offers a spacious 800 sq. feet of open living space on one story and provides spectacular views of the Chugach Mountains from the South facing windows. Historic Thompson House

Thompson House is historic, quirky, unique and comfortable. It survived the 1964 9.2 earthquake and tsunami that caused Old Valdez to relocate to the new and present town site. An addition more than doubled the size of the original one room cabin which included an extensive remodel.
