Beautiful space and area overlooking the ocean, awesome having our own beach, and use of kayaks etc. Sleeps 6 comfortably but the hidabed in living room for 2 more guests very uncomfortable, needs a foamy on top of the springs! Loved the sunroom and games box, lots of different sitting areas❣️

Great little suite with everything we needed, just steps from Chesterman Beach. Clean, comfortable, and great location, with a lovely lighted path to the beach. Barbara was so thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay, from leaving an Easter surprise for our kids to helping us out with finding a missing kite! Thank you :)

I came to the tiny seaside retreat looking for a beautiful place where I could disconnect from my life and get started on writing a novel, and I wasn't disappointed! It was perfect: cozy home, beautiful views and a great host to help me throughout my stay! Lauri was super responsive and helpful whenever I needed anything. The place was big enough for my needs and well stocked with everything you could ask for. I was nervous about the loft bedroom with the low ceilings, but I can honestly say I've never slept better in my life. I was grateful for the option of the fold out bed downstairs but didn't end up using it. Sitting out on the decks and writing each day while looking out over the water was heaven. I got to see one of the resident otters! I will definitely be a return visitor... I'm already planning it! Thanks so much for being so awesome, Lauri!

George est un hôte très amical et bienveillant. La caravane est bien équipée. La localisation au bord de l’eau est incroyable (attention : un tout petit peu bruyant lors de l’arrivée des ferrys). Toutefois, le prix est élevé pour une simple caravane dans une allée, avec un vis-à-vis direct sur les fenêtres de la maison (même prix que les logements entiers dans la région). Gros bonus : l’utilisation des kayaks !

It was perfect. The description was bang on. The cabin was full of character and rustic charm. You could feel the good energy in this place surrounded by peace and quiet. Nosy sea lion swam by several times a day.

Our stay at the Strand was simply magical and will hold a very special place in our memories for many years to come. Every attention to detail in all the furnishings, kitchen/bathroom amenities and local recommendations were so thoughtful and made this magical place feel like home, a very warm, peaceful and relaxing home! The beautiful photos from this listing were what attracted us to this booking but the reality was even far more breathtaking, stunning and exceeded all our expectations. We’ve stayed at many Airbnbs around the world and the Strand has to be one of, if not the, BEST one we’ve ever stayed at. My two sisters and I had the pleasure of staying at Margaret’s place for three evenings. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The accommodations are even more beautiful than the online photos. The views from the main living area and primary suite are stunning. The designer finishes and thoughtful decor complement the natural beauty that surround the unit. The kitchen was well appointed, furnishings abundant and comfortable. The area was beautiful, peaceful and quiet. Margaret was a lovely host - organized, helpful and thoughtful. Everything about our stay was a 10/10!

Enjoyed the privacy of the unit and the beauty of Pacific Shores Resort. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of dishes and pots and pans. Heidi communicated well with good information.

Beautiful guest home with a cabin vibe and modern washroom. Amazing panoramic view and indoor fireplace. You wont find a hot tub with a better view. Would definitely stay again.

This was our second stay at an Airbnb in Nanoose Bay at the Pacific Shores resorts. Chelsea's place was top of the line. As described, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed and more. Comfortable for the 6 of us who stayed. We loved the location and lay out of the condo, and loved being able to utilize the resort amenities as well. We hope and plan to stay here again next year and for many more to come!

Stayed here for 5 nights with a 2-year-old, we liked it so much we added another night. Very comfortable space with thoughtful details and well-stocked kitchen. It made traveling with a toddler so much easier. Minimal noise from nearby units. Large space. Great amenities at the resort. There were a few hiccups and the host was responsive.

Christina was a gracious host! The house was exactly as described and the scenery was absolutely stunning. We plan on coming back that's for sure Clean bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen. Couldn't have asked for a better place to experience Clallum bay and call home base.

Fantastic property right on Departure Bay with incredible sunrise views. Peter was friendly and very responsive and the unit is brand new and the perfect size with all amenities you could want, including washer and dryer. We will be back!

The house and location are beautiful! We had lots of room to spread out in the house - lots of nooks, windows, books and decks. It made it enjoyable to have both privacy when travelling with a multigenerational group and also places to gather. The kitchen is well appointed which made cooking easy. The beach was fun to walk and explore, and if the weather has been a bit warmer we would've swam and paddled. Fanny Bay itself is a beautiful area of the island but it is also a very convenient distance to exploring more of the mid-island - Cumberland/Courtenay and Horne Lake Caves to mention a couple. After exploring it was peaceful to return to this house. I would book again.

This home was absolutely stunning! The views of the bay were breathtaking — we could have sat and watched the water for hours. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. The shower was also amazing — spacious, with great water pressure, and the perfect way to unwind after a long day. Everything about this stay felt peaceful and luxurious. We can’t wait to come back!

This was an incredible space for our family to spend time together during the holidays. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach with incredible views! We saw seals each time we visited the beach. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved having enough bedrooms for each of our children to have their own space and the common spaces were large and comfortable for everyone as well. Loved it!

A true gem of an AirBnB. The photos were accurate but somehow still didn’t do justice to the beauty here! The house was spotless and well-appointed. Location is great— close enough to Coupeville to eat some delicious meals out, but private and lovely enough that you might opt instead to stay at the house, relax on the deck and take in the view. Would definitely repeat and would recommend to others.

Unterkunft war sehr privat auf einem riesigen natürlichen Grundstück direkt am Wasser. In den Bäumen war ein Seeadlernest mit Jungen. Allein das schon war es wert! Haushalt hatte alles, was wir benötigten, auch einen BBQ-Grill mit Gasflasche. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Gerne wieder!

Wonderful spot where you can completely disconnect. Listen to the birds and the sea lions off in the distance. Great spot for dogs with it being fully fenced. The linens were fresh, clean and crisp. The entire space was exceptionally clean.
