Our small piece of heaven rests on a quiet cove on the Bras D’or lakes, with an incredible view of Whycocomagh Bay and the mountains on its North side. The 2 1/2 acre property also features a sandy salt water beach which is lovely in the summer months (and very safe for children). You will be centrally located and convenient to many popular tourist destinations: Iona & Highland Village 15 min.; Inverness Beach & Cabot golfing 45 min.; Baddeck 40 min.; Mabou 40 min; Cabot trail 20 min.

Explorer's Cottage provides a country experience on 150 wooded acres, with a private beach, a botanical park-like forest, bird watching, an orchard, a Japanese meditation garden, library, paved pathways, and a hiking path, all with a refined interior. Perched on a hilltop overlooking Grand Étang, Cedar Peak offers unparalleled vistas. Watch the sun rise over the highlands through the 13ft window while you sip coffee from the open-concept living area. After a day of exploring, unwind on the panoramic patio as the sun sets over the ocean. Cedar Peak is fully loaded with a full kitchen, home theatre, and many other amenities. I built this home to be a secluded, barrier-free chalet for the ultimate Cape Breton experience.

The Tan Chalet and Hot tub at Cabot Shores

The Tan Chalet sleeps up to 9 people, gives you 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a space to relax and a fully equipped kitchen. It's also wheelchair accessible. We are located on the Cabot Trail, about a 40 minute drive from the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. You can also bring your furry friend for an additional $15 a night. We rent kayaks, canoes and paddle boards as have a Bistro on site. Hot tub is available on the deck.

Ocean Blue Chalet

This beautiful chalet style home overlooks the ocean and has mountain views. This open concept home has three bedrooms and two full baths on the main level and features a large deck with a lovely view of the ocean. The in-floor heat and south facing windows mean the house is always cozy & warm. Centrally located, the house is close to the local grocery store and many other attractions which vary from season to season.
