Deer Run Cottage

Beautiful stone cottage located within a private resort. Open the door to a stunning lake view and relax in your home away from home. You will be within walking distance to historic Elkader, and a half hour drive away from the Mississippi River, Effigy Mounds, Pikes Peak and so much more! Small-town Charmer (please read- rural location)

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. Quiet area close to nature and scenic roads and parks. Nestled between Elkader and Strawberry Point. Close to Backbone State Park and Volga/Turkey Rivers. This is a rural property, not located in a town with any amenities. You must bring what you need or plan to travel 8 miles to Elkader (Dollar General, Wilkes Grocery, pit stop gas station)or strawberry point (Dollar General, Casey’s and Nadings gas stations)

Peaceful Lakeview Cabin

A beautiful country cabin with stairs to the lower level for water access, fishing, and free use of rowboat, kayaks, and canoe. Sleeps up to 8 with a master bedroom, large loft, and plenty of space for sleeping bags. Features hardwood floors, tile shower, jetted tub, stocked kitchen with newer appliances, washer/dryer, outdoor fire pit, LP grill, and picnic tables for a perfect country getaway to unplug and relax. There is a $200 fee for any get-together. All parties must be pre approved.

The Bridge View Studio

Perfect getaway and a perfect location to get to know Elkader with it’s coffee shops, antique mall, shops, opera house and beautiful Turkey River. Property was homesteaded in 1841 and sits directly across from the courthouse and looks over the famous Keystone Bridge and downtown. Come stay awhile. ***NOTE: Because we are located across from the court house the clock tower bells can be heard from our location. Main part of the house is our residence, Airb&b has separate entrance on the side.

Old Mission Road House - A Home Away from Home

This is a newly built house with full kitchen. All dishes, pans and linens are supplied. There are 3 queen size bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms , washer and dryer. Flat screen TVs access to WIFI in the kitchen and in the loft area and also in each bedroom. Fully air conditioned. Front and back patio with chairs and table, grill and fire pit with wood supplied. Backbone State Park is three miles away. A great area for trout streams, hunting , hiking , golfing and snowmobling in the winter.

The EJ House 4 Bedroom 1 1/2 Bath

The EJ house was built in 1905 with the original woodwork, stain glass windows and front door. The house is a little over 1600 sqft of living space. The house has 4 bedrooms with three queen beds and one full size bed. Guests will find it to be surprisingly spacious and a comfortable place to work, play or relax. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the house. The house has central air for those warm summer days or enjoy the large back deck. The woodwork is original to the house.

The Kimball House

Beautiful Victorian home in the heart of Fayette only one block from downtown & Upper Iowa University. Features an updated kitchen w/ stainless steel appliances and family room w/gas fireplace. Formal living room & dining room have original hardwood floors; upstairs has engineered hardwoods. Updated bathroom has double vanity and shower. Downstairs 1/2 bath and laundry room has sink and shower. This charming home has everything you need to make your visit to NE Iowa fantastic!

The Cozy Corner Duplex

The Cozy Corner Duplex is equipped with all the amenities needed for modern living. The full kitchen comes with basic cooking utensils, Having a tea kettle and coffee maker readily available means you can enjoy your preferred beverages any time of day. For entertainment, a smart TV with access to Netflix and Hulu allows you to relax and enjoy your favorite shows and movies. The keypad entry provides the freedom to come and go as you please, enhancing your sense of independence.

The Farm in Volga!

The Farm has all the space you need for an amazing family get-a-way, hunting cabin, or relaxing retreat! The Farm sits on 7 acres with plenty of room to have fun & beautiful views of the rolling hills of Clayton County! There is a 1.5 acre pond with a beach & is stocked with fish (C&R only)...BYO fishing poles, life jackets & beach chairs *this is a "use at your own risk pond." Located just 20 minutes from Backbone State Park & minutes from public hunting grounds!

Cushions Cabins West

Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.

The Jude

Loft-like 1 BR/1 BA 2nd floor apt. located in historic Elkader, IA. This 1901 building has many neat architectural features including high ceilings, arched windows overlooking Main St. and wood floors. Large combo living and dining area, and full kitchen. BR has queen bed; also 1 twin air mattresse avail. upon request. Bumper pool table. Free parking. Fantastic DOWNTOWN location close to everything! Enjoy the Turkey River and beautiful Clayton County!!!
