A nice and well sized unit with all amenities that you could require. Good location if you need to be close to the Howick area, bakery and shop directly across the road, along with a supermarket further down the street. A private setup with own entrance, doesn't feel like you are imposing and vice versa, a little deck out the back which catches the sun..

This place was a quiet sanctuary in the cute town of Howick. The property was walkable to the beach and Howick village. The property was homey and comfortable. There was all the necessary stuff needed for cooking, and doing laundry. Renee and Simon were pleasant and friendly. This place worked for me as a solo traveler to head off to laces around Auckland, as well as have a quiet day. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely, well appointed studio in a great location, minutes from the beach and shops.

Home from home. Debbie was a brilliant host. We enjoyed the dogs and the relaxed approach we had within the studio flat. There is plenty of space and light and everything we needed. Howick is a great area within walking distance , full of good cafes, restaurants and shops . The Saturday market is a must as is the beach which is also within walking distance . We would definitely return .

Clean and lovely place. Host provides fruits, bread and dairy products for us. Quiet neighbourhood and we slept so well. Yet if you want to cook they don’t have a spacious cooking area. We did not cook so it is okay for us. Would love to come and stay again.

We loved the homely atmosphere of this accommodation, so clean and cosy, and can relax either in a bathtub or on the deck. Great host, great space! 👍

Penelope 's place was very stylish, spacious & spotlessly clean. Large comfortable bed & lovely bathroom. As there are others staying in the house there is a bit of noise through the walls but not excessive. Lovely spot overlooking Auckland but away from the craziness!

We loved staying at Haley’s place. She was super helpful getting us checked in as I had totally failed to download the instructions prior to our arrival. The space feels very private and has a walking trail to a nice park and swimming beach. The bed is very comfortable. The tranquil atmosphere of the unit made it feel like a home away from home

The place was clean and really nice. The backyard was great for my toddler to run around.

This is a brilliant spot to stay in St Heliers as a base for being in Auckland. It is less than 1 minute walk to St Heliers Village which includes to the bus stop etc. Has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Quiet and private, comfy bed. Safe parking on the road in the immediate vicinity. I loved this place and would book again.

Deb’s getaway is perfect for 1-2 people who are looking for accessibility around Auckland but something quieter than staying Central. A quick walk and you’re on the waterfront with many restaurants to pick from as well as the most lovely beach! Deb is an excellent host who thinks of everything! She graciously left a breakfast treat for our first morning and keeps a very tidy, clean place. It’s the perfect spot to relax!

We had a very nice stay at Gary’s place. Gary is super friendly and responsive and gave us heaps of tips for things to do. The washing machine and dryer and drying space on the deck were very helpful for us as we were in AKL for a sailing regatta. The home made bread, butter, jam and milk were a super nice touch. Thank you Gary for having us!

We stayed in Henry and Joyce's apartment for 6 weeks. It is well appointed and has everything that we needed. Also they were both very approachable if we felt that there was something extra that would be helpful. Thank you both for a great facility.

É um lugar muito aconchegante, limpo, organizado, bem equipado para qualquer necessidade ou imprevisto e com uma decoração linda que torna o ambiente ainda mais gostoso e harmônico. O Airbnb fica um pouco afastado do centro da cidade, mas é uma região maravilhosa e estruturada, com acesso fácil a restaurantes, centro comercial e parques. David foi muito atencioso em todos os momentos, tornando nossa estadia incrível. Recomendamos muito e gostaríamos de retornar um dia.

Comfiest bed and pillows I just wish I had a bedside table on my side of the bed

This has to be one of my all-time favorite Airbnbs. The flat was absolutely beautiful—cozy, thoughtfully designed, and stocked with every amenity you could wish for. It truly felt like a home away from home. Nothing short of amazing. And Sandy was a fantastic host—responsive, kind, and there when we needed him.

Great location, spacious place, lovely hosts! We’ve had everything we needed for our stay. Definitely recommend!

Marita is very welcoming ( fruit bowl and essentials for breakfast). This is the second time I have stayed in this apartment. It is close to a park as well as walking distance to a shopping centre. The apartment is very spacious and tidy and has all the essentials for a longer stay. There is an outside sitting area available. My stay at Marita’s was perfect and I will definitely select it when traveling to New Zealand again. Thank you, Pete
