Best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in, in our extensive travels. We are still in disbelief of this home. If you have the chance to stay, do it. We had hesitated to book because there’s so much to do along the South Island, but now we know that this home is worth making the special visit. We will not be forgetting the serenity and beauty of Fallow Ridge: the uninterrupted panoramic view of sheep-dotted mountainside, the warm bath overlooking the sunset, the beautiful fog rolling in and out around the house. We walked along the road and down to the river and never actually went back down into town in our two nights because the property was just too awesome to leave; we recommend you arrive with some groceries as we did, in case you feel the same! The thoughtful details from our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were glad to meet David out on a walk and we regret to have not met Sarah, who we wish to also sincerely thank for such a lovely stay!

We only stayed one night on our travels north. A 3 bedroom house was too big for just 2 of us but was lovely to have lots of room. Even though the fireplace looked inviting the heat pump sufficiently kept us warm enough. Appreciated being able to do laundry. The location within the very small town area was ideal. We walked to the supermarket. Our experience of hospitality at the hotel was dreadful. We really commend the effort put in with the renovation of this old house.

Beautiful place to stay, very comfortable and such an awesome deck to sit and relax in sun. Diana was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make our stay perfect. Easy walk to pub for a drink and meal. Would totally recommending Diana's place to stay. Thanks again

Great secluded spot but still close enough to Cromwell, Wanaka and Queenstown for day trips. Loved the surroundings, a great place for the family stay. Kitchen and opened plan living area is a perfect space. The property is beautifully quiet at night and nothing but bird song during the day. The vineyard next door is great on a Friday night too. Would love to stay again.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! It was peaceful, warm and welcoming. We absolutely loved the location and the attention to detail from Judy. The cottage was clean and the linen beautiful quality. Easy access to the beach and we enjoyed lots of walks and reconnecting as a family! We would love to stay again - 2 nights wasn’t long enough for us! Thanks for having us!

We loved staying in this little beachside property. The breakfast items were much appreciated, the house comfortable and cosy, and the bed was great. The access way from the street was a bit tricky, and we worried about damaging our car bumper crossing from the driveway onto the road, both coming and going, as the road surfaces are uneven.

Tony went above and beyond for us. We arrived very late from cycling in and Tony had got some of the most delicious pies for us as the town had closed already. Very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely come back!
