We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

There are 3 bedrooms; 1 superking size bed, 1 queen size bed, and a trundler bed which pulls out to make 2 single beds. Spacious lounge, 2 bathrooms, garaging for 1 car and 2 parks in front of garage. Large opening door onto the outdoor living area with a BBQ, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and dryer No parties or smoking/vaping on property. 15 mins drive to Richmond, 25 mins to Nelson.

We have a sculpture garden and gallery on site showcasing the work of David Carson and other artists. Free entry to our guests. The Last Straw Cottage

Beautiful Boutique Straw Bale Cottage, completely private with 3 double bedrooms (sleeps 6 adults, plus 2 additional single beds and cot available) on a 16 acre farm in Brightwater, Nelson. Situated in the heart of wine country with beaches, rivers (fly fishing), cafes and cycle trails a few minutes away. Large garden, BBQ & outdoor dining. A great place to take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Whether a stop off from the nearby Great Taste Trail or part of a road trip or holiday getaway, you will enjoy the views and peace of your visit here. The downstairs part of our home is self contained with a separate entrance and is available for your exclusive use and enjoyment. If requested, a cooked dinner or breakfast or packed lunches can also be provided as well as advice and support for local sights and activities.

Stonehaven Cottage

Compact stand alone semi rural country cottage amongst the fruit trees, Wi fi available ,situated 1km from Brightwater & only 15 minutes to Richmond. Close proximity to cycle trails. Suitable for 2 guests with queen size bed, separate kitchen set up for light cooking and bathroom facilities. Own washing machine . Self check in with lockbox. Owners live on property There is a wooden deck with outdoor furniture & bbque. $15 fee will be incurred should an EV be charged at our cottage .
